One India, Many Hands | From Grassroots to Governance | Impact to Inclusion
July 2025 | India
The MAHATO Foundation, one of Eastern India’s most active community development institutions, has just launched a bold and visionary initiative — ‘Bharat Ki Aawaz: Voices of Impact’. It’s a nationwide platform built to amplify the stories, innovations, and leadership emerging from India’s grassroots.
With the call of “One India, Many Hands,” this national movement brings together thousands of changemakers — from rural entrepreneurs and self-help groups to educators, innovators, farmers, artists, and civil society leaders — all working toward a more just and inclusive India.
Bharat Ki Aawaz isn’t just another development program. It’s a people-powered listening platform that seeks to spotlight unheard voices from rural and semi-urban India, showcase homegrown solutions, and build trust between communities and the larger development ecosystem — including government, civil society, and private sector partners.
Through fellowships, partnerships, and powerful storytelling, the initiative will map real impact journeys — from local change agents to national policy spaces — and contribute to a People’s SDG Report Card for India by 2026.
“India is not just a country of 1.4 billion people — it is 1.4 billion ideas for change.
With Bharat Ki Aawaz, we’re building a national circle of trust, truth, and transformation — led by communities and powered by dignity, data, and digital storytelling.”
